INSPIRATION. SOUTH EAST ASIA. Following trips to Borneo where Oenone stayed with the Punan tribe in the depths of the Rainforest, and visits to other South East Asian Countries, Oenone exhibited her paintings in London in support of Friends of the Earth and the World Wildlife Fund. In Burma she was inspired by the temples in Pagan that she found in a semi-abandoned state, slowly returning to nature. She rode Elephants in the Golden Triangle of Northern Thailand, and marvelled at the intricate batik designs in Bali & Java.
